The Farm

Kona Gold Farm is a gated, double fenced property that includes open grassy fields, large matted airy stalls with giant fans, direct water to each stall, two beautiful temperature-controlled tack rooms, multiple wash and grooming stalls. If that’s not enough, there is over 30 acres for hacking with cross country sprinkled through, an oversized Future Track dressage arena, several well maintained jumping areas with show quality jumps and a large round pen. Top quality hay and grain is fed in a customized program for each horse. Brooke and her staff live on-site to give 24/7 hour care to your beloved horse. If all that is not enough, we also offer Bemer sessions and use of our SpectraVet laser. We offer both stall and field training board!

Our Program

Each horse has a customized program to suit both horse and rider. Our flexible program allows for our owners either to focus more on taking lessons or to utilize our experience with training sessions with your horse. We currently offer both full and partial training board. Our team has experience with everything from breaking horses to restarting thoroughbred to maintaining competitive eventers/jumpers/fox hunters/dressage horses to working with more “difficult” horses. We take a slow, progressive approach to each horse to help bring out the best! Horses are more than welcome to come for short periods of training or stay for long term! Additionally, Brooke has extensive, successful experience with selling horses of all shapes, sizes and price points!

Lessons

Brooke loves working with riders of all ages and has students both young and young at heart. Her junior program is quite successful with many students qualifying for Area and American Championships with goals of Young Riders. She has successfully matched quite a few riders with perfect horses for both lease and to own to be able to reach their individual goals. Her AA program focuses on understanding and working with the working rider to fill in gaps due to pesky work schedules with riding and training to keep the horses fit and ready for their next lessons, hunts and/or shows with their owners!

Starting

Our starting program tends to work best in about 60 to 90 days with a strong focus on groundwork. We start working with our horses in the round pen with a rope halter so they have a clear understanding of their bodies and how to move off of pressure. We then introduce a western saddle, still in the rope halter, and start mounting. Because of our careful groundwork, most horses are WTC in the first several rides and are riding out of the round pen. We then modify our tack and program to your specific horse’s needs. If you would like your horse to be started over fences, we also start that introduction from the ground. Feel free to ask for as many updates and photos as you would like! We also encourage our owners to watch the sessions! Our starting board can either be partial or full training.

Sales

Brooke has a very strong sales record. She has sold horses of all different types and disciplines. Sales horses are put into training to ensure they are ready for trials and have the opportunity to be shown if needed. Most horses, once marketed, sell in the first 30 days. Our sales board includes everything in training board and all of the necessary sales prep (photos, videos, marketing). Once you decide to sell your horse with Brooke Bayley Equestrian, you can rest easy knowing every aspect of the sale is being taken care of!
