Happy Acres Ranch is a 25-acre working horse ranch located in Dunnellon, Florida, just 12 miles southwest of Ocala, in the scenic southwest corner of Marion County. Established in 2005, the ranch has grown into a welcoming destination offering equine services, horse boarding, lodging, trail riding, and riding lessons, all set within the heart of Ocala horse country.

The ranch provides horse-related services and sales, along with boarding accommodations in 19 spacious stallshoused in two modern concrete-block barns with updated bathroom facilities. Stalls measure 12’ x 12’ and can be expanded to 24’ x 12’ for foaling or post-natal care. Boarders have access to secure private tack rooms and lockable feed storage. For training and conditioning, Happy Acres Ranch offers two riding arenas (one lighted) and a 50-foot round pen.

Happy Acres Ranch also offers guest accommodations, including Happy Trails Lodge, Stage Coach Camper, and Groom’s Quarters A & B, available for daily, weekly, or monthly stays. These cottages provide the comforts of home, including Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and select units with washer and dryer, making them ideal for vacationers, business travelers, and equestrian layovers. RV hookups are also available.

Located directly outside the ranch gate are more than 50 miles of scenic riding trails, with the Pruitt Trailhead just three miles away, connecting riders to the Florida Greenway for extended trail riding across Central Florida. Nearby outdoor attractions include Rainbow Springs and the Rainbow River, located just 6.5 miles from the ranch, offering boating, canoeing, and swimming. Lake Otting Park, only 1.5 miles away, provides tennis courts, picnic areas, and beautiful historic oak trees.
